# Supplier change before launch — fictional practice brief

This is an ordinary authoring prompt, not an exact canonical export.

A fictional Belgian business must decide whether to replace its packaging supplier before a product launch in 30 days. Its current supplier is familiar but cannot yet confirm delivery. An alternative supplier quotes a lower price, but quality testing and capacity evidence are incomplete.

- Define the decision, professional role, jurisdiction and deadline.
- Compare continuing with the current supplier, a conditional switch and postponement.
- Record which prices, lead times, quality claims and contractual terms are unverified.
- Request a written quote, capacity confirmation, sample test and contract review.
- Connect each decision to its evidence and a clear outcome.
- Explain the conditions that would pause the change.
- Review the checks and create an internal analytical draft.
